Windows 7 auto run on statup CPUID Hardware Monitor

I have just moved from the wonderful world of XP up to the dreaded Windows 7. So much has changed and it's going to take quite a bit to get use to this new interface. My problem has more to do with my living arrangements than computer. I am on the 3rd floor of a house with little to no A/C. So my CPU tends to get a bit on the hot side.

I was recomended that I run Hardware Monitor to track my fan speeds and core temperatures. It works great except... I can't get it to autoload when my computer starts. It seems to want some adminitator rights so something. I did eventually find where the program files menu is stored, and found the startup folder. I did successfully add in taskmanager to load, but my shortcut to hardware monitor is just ignored.

Any help would be appreciated.

Matt.
