Windows 7 backup files for service packs

Hello
I deleted these before knowing they are necessary for removal of a service pack.
Would system restore or an Aronis image of the system be better to recover these?
Thank you

I wanted to thank you for your help and to let others like myself who are not techy know a couple of things I learned. Basically do not delete the backup files for service packs it saves space but once removed you cannot remove the service pack. Also don't delete the 'set up log files entry'.
There is a good site to get problems fixed called MS Solution center. It is for non techs like me.
I solved my dilema by having Acronis perform a recovery to a date proior to the deletion of the files in question.
Thank you again for your help.
