Hello,

Recently I've been getting bad_pool_caller bsods. I've updated my graphics drivers, run antivirus scans, ran memtest86, etc., but I don't know what is causing it. Any help would be appreciated!

Also, I know the first thing someone would tell me to do is install all the Windows Updates, but I cannot, as I keep getting error 80073712 and I have not found a way around it.

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:

This device has issues. Please uninstall all instances of CPU-Z:
cpuz134 ROOT\LEGACY_CPUZ134\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

Lot's of problems with WhatPulse.exe in the WER section of MSINFO32. I'd suggest un-installing this program for now.

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems. Please un-install it immediately.

The memory dump blames your video drivers - so please update them from the ATI/AMD website.

Please update these older drivers (especially the one's with BSOD notes). Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Please remove this. Use the free program here for temp monitoring: HWiNFO, HWiNFO32 & HWiNFO64 - Hardware Information and Analysis Tools
