How does Balanced profile balancing performance and power? Does customized plan can save more power than balanced power plan?

I doubt if it would show any significant change in power. It is not , either, really related to performance. It is a matter of how you deploy your computer and your personal preferences of what you want on or off - very much towards your own convenience.
But some of the items, which can be changed, can result in an overall, but small, increase in performance, by reducing the demand on resources. This could be of use if you have an older computer.
