Before posting a hardware issue, please do the following;

1. Update the drivers. If your hardware isn't working as it's supposed to, update to the latest drivers via windows update or the hardware manufacturer's website. If they don't have Windows 7 Beta drivers, use the latest Windows Vista Drivers.

2. Try uninstalling the hardware in the Device Manager (Control Panel/All Control Panel Items/Device Manager) and then reinstalling it.

If both of those fail, then please make sure to post full system specs and the windows version being used in your post.

Thanks,
Staff.

It's wise to encourage users to troubleshoot hardware issues before seeking further assistance. Updating drivers and reinstalling hardware can often resolve common problems. Providing full system specifications and Windows version details in the post helps support personnel offer more accurate guidance and solutions. These preliminary steps ensure that users have taken the necessary initial troubleshooting measures before seeking additional help.
