		 Of course thats a different processor architecture and this was always planned to be a major re-write. Windows 7 was always considered to be a minor release in their development cycle. They are hoping to unify a whole bunch of different hardware platforms with this one. What that will require is anyone's guess. Very likely different hardware requirements depending on what type of device it is. I can't see the hardware requirements exceeding Windows 7, but they very well could. That is no reason to automatically write things off as bad.
