After an unattended installation of Windows 7 Ultimate, it started to encrypt my separate data disk. The PC was very slow. Stopped bitlocker at 11.4 %. After reboot every thing looks normal, but I can’t reach my data disk. If I resume or undo the encryption, I see the message ‘no path’.
The only thing I can do is a format.
Please help.

It sounds like you are facing issues with BitLocker encryption on your separate data disk after an unattended installation of Windows 7 Ultimate. The fact that you stopped BitLocker encryption at 11.4% and then encountered the message 'no path' when trying to resume or undo the encryption indicates a potential problem with the encryption process. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Check Disk Management: - Go to Disk Management in Windows to see if your data disk is recognized and if there are any issues reported. 2. Recover BitLocker Key: - If you have the BitLocker recovery key saved, try using it to unlock the drive. - If you don't have the recovery key, it might be challenging to access the data. 3...

Recover BitLocker Key: - If you have the BitLocker recovery key saved, try using it to unlock the drive. - If you don't have the recovery key, it might be challenging to access the data. 3. Use BitLocker Repair Tool: - Windows includes a BitLocker Repair tool that can help in some cases. You can access it via the Command Prompt by running repair-bde. 4. Data Recovery: - If you are unable to unlock the drive and access your data, you might need to consider data recovery tools to retrieve your files before formatting the drive. 5. Seek Professional Help: - If the data on the disk is critical and you are unable to recover it on your own, consider seeking help from data recovery specialists. It's crucial to try data recovery options before formatting the disk to avoid losing any important files. If you have any backups of the data, it's recommended to restore from those backups. Let me know if you need more detailed guidance on any of these steps.
