Hello Carlo, Installing future builds of Windows 7 over an existing build like RC 7100 can be a bit tricky. While it's technically possible, it's usually not recommended due to potential issues with compatibility, stability, and data loss. Here are some points to consider: 1. Data Loss: Upgrading to a new build can sometimes lead to the loss of data or settings. It's always recommended to back up important files before attempting any major system changes. 2. Compatibility and Stability: Upgrading from an older build to a newer one can introduce compatibility issues with existing software and drivers. This can lead to system instability or certain programs not working as intended. 3. Clean Installation: It's often advised to perform a clean installation of the newer build rather than upgrading from an older version. This ensures a fresh start and reduces the chances of issues arising from the upgrade process. 4. Availability: Since Windows 7 reached its end of life, Microsoft no longer releases new updates or builds for this operating system. Therefore, the future builds you are referring to may not be officially available. If you still want to proceed with installing a future build over Windows 7 RC 7100, ensure you have a backup of your important data, consider the risks involved in the upgrade process, and make sure to have the installation media for the newer build available. Let me know if you need more specific guidance or assistance with any part of the upgrade process.
