Having at last set up Windows 7 I now wish to add external software.
I download and install but if I wish then to cut abd paste passwords/codes etc, I cannot.
It seems to cut but nothing happens on paste.
I would be grateful for any assistance on this preferably to my email address [email protected]
Many thanks,

Many thanks,

I assume you are using CTRL C (copy) and CTRL V (paste)??!!

Thank you but why doessn't the normal method work?

That works, Thank you.
But why the verb "assume" ? Why cannot I use a right click and select cut and then the same procedure for paste.

That is the first choice by most but I thought you might have been using something else. Hence the verb "assume."

Thank you Busydog for your help. Much appreciated.
I always thought the cut and paste using the mouse right click as being more convenient since it cut out the keyboard.
Do you know the reason why this method does not work with 7 and if it will become available?
Once again, many thanks,

Rt-Clk Cut and Paste works in my Win7. I suspect a corrupt registry (rt-clk context menu).

You might have some success fixing it with shellexview. Go to ShellExView Freeware download and review - view and disable shell extensions from SnapFiles
