Is there anyway to change it so that if you click and drag a file from one folder to another it will cut and paste it instead of making a clone of it?

Solution
Yes, you can change the default behavior of dragging files in Windows to cut and paste instead of copying them. This involves modifying a setting in Windows File Explorer. Here's how you can do it: 1. Open File Explorer: Open any folder on your Windows system. 2. Click on "View": In the File Explorer menu, click on the "View" tab at the top. 3. Click on "Options" and "Change folder and search options": In the "View" tab, you will find the "Options" button on the right side. Click on it, and a new window will open up. 4. Go to the "View" tab in Folder Options: In the Folder Options window, navigate to the "View" tab. 5. Uncheck "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items": Scroll down in the...

Uncheck this option. 6. Check "Cut and Copy items when dragging": Directly below the previous option, you will find the option "When dragging items." Check the box next to "Cut and Copy items." 7. Apply and OK: Click on "Apply" and then "OK" at the bottom of the Folder Options window to save the changes. After completing these steps, when you drag a file from one folder to another in Windows, it will be cut and pasted instead of copied.
