Windows 7 chkdsk faster on defragmented hard disks?

If I run chkdsk on a defragmented hard disk partition:

Is this faster than on an undefragmented partition?

Solution
If it's a spinning disk then yes it will generally be faster due to how the disks operate. If it's a SSD then you never want to defrag them nor do they need it.
