Windows 7 computer resets it self to welcome screen

Hi everyone, I have this annoying problem with my desktop computer running Windows7 Infinity where it will reset itself to the welcome screen every 2 minutes or so when I don't move the mouse regularly, this has been going on for some time This doesn't happen however if I am playing a movie. Apart from this problem the system works fine. Is there anyone out there who has had a similar problem and knows how to fix it?.

go to desktop
right click
select personalize
select screen saver
select change power settings
under balanced select change plan settings and play around with it.
