I have Win7 64bit and it works very well.
However, I installed ITunes recently and now Quicktime thinks it is the default application for my picture viewing.

In WinXP I could set the file associations for each application. I have searched the forums, and looked all thru Win7 and can't seem to find where/how I can set the file types that are associated with each application.

I know it can be done. Sure could use some help.

Thanks,

In Windows 7, you can manage file associations to set which applications open specific file types. Here's a guide on how you can set the default application for picture viewing: 1. Setting Default Programs: - Click on the Start menu and open the Control Panel. - Go to "Programs" and click on "Default Programs." - Select "Set your default programs." - Choose the program you want to associate with picture files, such as Windows Photo Viewer or another image viewing application, and set it as the default program. 2. Setting Individual File Associations: - If you want to set specific file types to be opened by a particular application: - Right-click on a picture file of the type you want to associate with a different program. -...

Adjusting File Type Associations: - To manage all file type associations: - In the Control Panel, go to "Programs" and select "Default Programs." - Choose "Associate a file type or protocol with a program." - Scroll through the list to find the file type you want to change, then click on "Change program" to select a different application for that file type. By following these steps, you can customize your file associations, ensuring that the correct applications open when you access different file types. Let me know if you need further assistance!
