I realised that I could not copy file which are more than 100GB at the same time.. Anyone knows why?

Solution
When you encounter issues copying large files like those over 100GB, there are several potential reasons for this problem:
  1. File System Limitations: The file system of the destination location might not support files larger than 100GB. For example, FAT32 has a file size limit of 4GB per file, while exFAT and NTFS support larger file sizes.
  2. Storage Space: Ensure that the destination drive has enough free space to accommodate the file you are trying to copy. If there isn't sufficient space, the copying process will fail.
  3. Fragmented Files: Large files could become fragmented during storage, making them harder to copy. Defragmenting the drive might help improve the copying process.
  4. System Resources...

  4. System Resources: Copying large files requires ample system resources like RAM. If your system doesn't have enough resources available, it may struggle to copy such massive files.
  5. Interference from Antivirus Software: Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with copying large files due to the extensive scanning process it undertakes.
  6. Network Issues: If you're copying files over a network, network stability and speed can affect the copying process. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
    • Ensure the destination drive has enough free space.
    • Check the file system of the destination drive and convert it to NTFS if needed.
    • Monitor system resources during the copying process to ensure it's not running out of memory.
    • Temporarily disable antivirus software to see if it's causing interference.
    • If copying over a network, ensure network stability.
By addressing these points, you should be able to determine the root cause of the issue and successfully copy large files over 100GB.
