Windows 7 Crazy Sticky Notes

I love sticky notes but am having a problem.

2 days ago the exe file just disappeared. I downloaded it and reinstalled it. Early today I quite being able to cut from one note to another. Now I can no longer get notes to close. I've reinstalled and rebooted with no success.

Suggestions?

Do you by chance have a backup from before the problem to install from? Failing that do you have a win 7 DVD to do a repair install from?
