    3. Update Drivers:

  • Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause critical errors. Update key drivers like graphics, chipset, and network adapters.

    4. Check Disk Errors:

  • Run a disk check to identify and repair any file system errors. Use the CHKDSK command in the Command Prompt.

    5. Windows Update:

  • Ensure your Windows 10 is up-to-date. Install the latest updates that may contain bug fixes for known issues.

    6. SFC and DISM Scan:

  • Run System File Checker (SFC) and Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tools to scan and repair corrupted system files.

    7. Check Hardware:

  • Check hardware components like RAM and HDD/SSD for issues. Faulty hardware can cause critical errors. Run hardware diagnostics if possible.

    8. Uninstall Recent Updates or Software:

  • If the issue started after an update or software installation, consider uninstalling them temporarily to see if the problem persists.

    9. Restore Device Defaults:

  • Reset BIOS settings to default if you suspect a misconfiguration has caused the error.

    10. Professionals Assistance:

  • If the issue persists, consider seeking assistance from Microsoft Support or a professional technician for advanced troubleshooting. By following these steps, you can diagnose the "Critical Process Died" error on your HP PC and potentially resolve it without resorting to a complete format of your system.
