hi all,
im having an issue connecting the program my company uses to the database ive specified

when i try to run the program i get data source name not found and no default driver specified.

after doing some research i realised that the pc is 64bit and the drivers are 32 so i went into the syswow folder and configured them from there exactly how our other pc's here are configured yet when i run the program i still get the same error...its really been bothering me as i cant work it out.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

the 2 systems dsn's installed

the first is a driver do microsoft access.mdb

and an openrda driver (which has been installed)

the file dsn is in C:\program files\common files\odbc\datasources\ "file name"

and the file dsns content is

[ODBC]
DRIVER=OpenRDA
Database="name of database"
Server=OpenRDA

PROBLEM SOLVED

silly software was only made to work if running from a certain mapped drive
