In this video, David Molnar and Margus Veanes, both Researchers at Microsoft Research, give a demo of BEK (you can try it too at http://rise4fun.com/bek). BEK is a domain specific language for writing common string functions, combined with state of the art analysis. With BEK, you can answer questions like, Do these two programs output the same string? Can this program ever output a target string? What happens if I compose these two programs? Does the order matter?

Once you've authored and analyzed your sanitizer in BEK, you can automatically get a C#/Javascript version of it.

The Research in Software Engineering team (RiSE) coordinates Microsoft's research in Software Engineering in Redmond, USA.
