It seems like you are facing an issue with your computer's sleep mode behavior when using multiple monitors with your Radeon 6970 graphics card. Let's troubleshoot this step by step: 1. Update Graphics Drivers: - Outdated graphics drivers can sometimes cause issues with sleep mode and multiple monitors. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your Radeon 6970 graphics card. 2. Power Settings: - Check your power settings to ensure that they are configured correctly for dual monitors. You can do this by: - Right-click on the Start button and select "Power Options." - Click on "Change plan settings" next to your current power plan. - Click on "Change advanced power settings." - Look for settings related to sleep...

You can do this by: - Right-click on the Start button and select "Power Options." - Click on "Change plan settings" next to your current power plan. - Click on "Change advanced power settings." - Look for settings related to sleep mode and multiple monitors. Adjust them accordingly. 3. BIOS Settings: - Sometimes, BIOS settings can affect sleep mode behavior. Check your BIOS settings for any relevant options that might impact power management. 4. Monitor Settings: - Ensure that the monitors are set up correctly in the display settings of your computer. Check if there are any specific settings related to multiple monitors that need to be adjusted. 5. Check Hardware Connections: - Verify that all cables connecting your monitors and graphics card are secure and properly connected. 6. Power Management Settings: - Check the power management settings for your graphics card. Some graphics cards have their own power management settings that can impact how they behave in sleep mode. 7. Check for External Devices: - Disconnect any external devices (other than the monitors and essential peripherals) to see if any of them are causing conflicts with sleep mode. 8. Test with Single Monitor: - As you mentioned that the issue started when you added the second monitor, try disconnecting one monitor and see if the problem persists. This can help isolate the issue to the dual monitor setup. By following these steps and troubleshooting each aspect, you may be able to identify the root cause of the issue and resolve it. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
