On December 10, 2009 Eleks Software, a medical information and database software program received Windows Logo Compliance status from Microsoft. This means that their software can have the Logo “Window7 Compliant†attached. As a health care provider, Eleks has determined to show its customer and patient database that they can rely on the medical information that Eleks provide through the use of Windows 7.
The Windows Logo Program offers Microsoft Business Partners the opportunity to extend to the public the assurance that their products meet certain stringent requirements in order to have the Windows Logo attached to their product, be it hardware or software.

The “Doctor Eleks†medical information system is a repository of patient information, and as such it must meet several different levels of privacy, sophistication, and assurance because it is intended to collect all patient data, including video and graphic images, and place such information into a single electronic medical record. So the environment that it is working in must be stable, but more that that the Eleks product must also be stable in working with the environment. That is what the Windows Logo helps provide.
