Hi,
I download from the official Microsoft website the Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 (32-bit) , with a file name "drvupdate-x86.cab".
I have a Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, in my laptop Compaq 610.
It happen that when I execute the cab.file the setup start to run, but then in the middle of installation the setup crash and doesn't appear even a notice!
I put my HP IPAQ Data Messenger in the USB of the Laptop, and nothing happens!

Can you be Kind and find a solution?
Best Regards.

Check Event Viewer: - Check the Event Viewer for any error logs related to the installation crash. This can provide more details on why the setup is failing. 4. Check System Requirements: - Ensure that your laptop meets the system requirements for the Windows Mobile Device Center. It's compatible with Windows 7, but certain configurations or updates may be needed. 5. Download Fresh Copy: - If the current installation file is corrupted, try downloading a fresh copy from the Microsoft website to rule out any issues with the file. 6. Driver Update: - Ensure your laptop's drivers are up to date, especially the USB drivers, as they are crucial for device recognition. Please try these steps and let me know if any of them help resolve the issue you're experiencing during the installation of the Windows Mobile Device Center.
