ERUNT is having trouble with Win 7x64 which I have.
I know the work arounds so it will work with Win 7 but my question is, does ERUNT.GUI which is a different program require any adjustments or can one with WIN 7 x 64 just download it and use it without modifications.
Thank you
Peter

Solution
Hey Peter,
ERUNT (The Emergency Recovery Utility for NT) and ERUNT.GUI are indeed separate programs, with ERUNT designed to back up and restore the Windows registry, while ERUNT.GUI provides a graphical user interface for ERUNT.
When it comes to using ERUNT.GUI with Windows 7 x64, you shouldn't encounter any issues if ERUNT works fine on your system. Typically, if ERUNT functions properly, ERUNT.GUI should work without the need for modifications on a Windows 7 x64 system.
If you have already applied workarounds to ensure ERUNT works with your Windows 7 x64, you should be good to go with ERUNT.GUI as well. You can try downloading and using ERUNT.GUI without additional adjustments.
Feel free to proceed with downloading and using ERUNT.GUI...
