Hello all, I'm a noob here...and yes I am stuck...

Hi everybody, just joined up!

Struggling with a limited connectivity issue on a new Dell laptop, LAN works great and so did wireless for 2 days, then it went belly up. I am close to launching it through the nearest window! Desperately seeking sanity...

have you reset the router??
did you setup the ssid in the wireless connection??
go into the router by typing in
192.168.1.1
admin
admin
user and password.
make sure the ssid is setup in the router.
check the logs and make sure a 'smurf' attack did not occur.
google for the smurf for an explanation
