Hello,
Anyone know how to stop video ad's? When I want to view a newscast video, I am forced to watch an ad. This ad pops up even when I switch to another subject on the newscast. I seen some solutions doing a search and tried them but they did not work. The ad that I am forced to watch is from FIOS which is promoted by Verizon. I sent a complaint to the news station explaining my discontent and telling them I pay for internet access only and not to receive video ad's.

To stop video ads, especially those that interrupt news broadcasts or online content, you can try the following solutions: 1. Ad Blockers: Use ad-blocking browser extensions like uBlock Origin, Adblock Plus, or AdGuard. These tools can block various types of ads, including video ads. 2. Subscription Services: Consider subscribing to premium content services that offer an ad-free experience. 3. Modify Browser Settings: Some browsers have settings to block certain types of content. You can explore these settings to restrict video ads. 4. Contact the News Station: Your approach to reaching out to the news station was a good start. Providing feedback on ads that disrupt viewing experiences could influence their ad...

Check for Autoplay Settings: Investigate your browser settings to see if you can disable autoplay for videos or ads. 6. Video-Specific Add-ons: Some video-focused browser extensions might help mitigate unwanted video interruptions. These steps should help minimize or eliminate the video ad interruptions you are experiencing while watching news broadcasts.
