Windows 10 How do I extract files? (I dont mean .zip .rar .7z .exe .js .other file names)

Can you actually download the folder containing the file?

File extensions are nothing more than an indicator to explorer on which program to use to open/run the given file type. Looking at a file with a hex edit and looking at the first few bytes (called the magic number) will identify the type of file. For example files that start MZ are executables. On a side note if you try to extract the content from an executable it will typically extract the sections of the PE (packed executable) such as .text .rdata. pdata etc. These sections are not usually readable by given programs since they're just parts of an executable.
