Troubleshooting Internet Connectivity on Comcast Wi-Fi:

    ]Check Wi-Fi Connection:
    • Ensure you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network (your brother's Comcast Wi-Fi).
    • Check if other devices can connect to the same network successfully.
    []Network Troubleshooting:
    • If you are still unable to connect, run the Windows Network Troubleshooter.
    • Right-click on the network icon in the system tray and select "Troubleshoot problems."
    [
    ]Restart Router:
    • Sometimes a simple restart of the router can resolve connectivity issues. Turn the router off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
    []Update Network Drivers:
    • Ensure that your network adapter drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to Device Manager, locating your network adapter, right-clicking, and selecting "Update driver."
    [
    ]Security Software:
    • Check if any security software on your PC might be blocking the connection. Temporarily disable the firewall or antivirus software and try connecting again. By following these steps, you should be able to change your network type to Home on Windows 7 and troubleshoot the connectivity issue with your brother's Comcast Wi-Fi network.
