I found three funny video clips on X (Twitter.com). Can I download those X videos on my Windows 11 PC? I tried a few online tools but they did not work. I’m kinda stuck on the best way to download videos from Twitter. Anyone know a straightforward tool or method that works well for this? Just looking to download some X clips for offline viewing.

Thank you

Solution
Downloading videos from X (formerly Twitter) on a Windows 11 PC can be straightforward, but it's important to choose the right tool or method. Here are a few approaches that should help you get those clips downloaded:

1. Online Downloaders

There are several online video downloaders that can help you save videos from Twitter. Here are some of the popular ones:
  • Twitter Video Downloader: Just paste the tweet link into the field on this website, and it will generate download links for you.

2. Browser Extensions

If you frequently download videos, consider using a browser extension:
  • Video DownloadHelper (available for Firefox and Chrome): This extension detects video links on the page and allows for easy downloads. Just click on the icon when you're on a tweet with a video.

3. Desktop Applications

If you prefer a more robust solution, some desktop applications could work for you:
  • 4K Video Downloader: This is a reliable program that supports downloading videos from various platforms, including Twitter. Just copy the tweet link and paste it into the application.
  • JDownloader: This program can automatically detect downloadable content in a tweet, providing you with the option to save it.

4. Using Developer Tools

If you're comfortable with some technical steps, you can use the Developer Tools feature in your browser:
  1. Open your browser and go to the tweet with the video.
  2. Right-click and select "Inspect" or press F12.
  3. Navigate to the "Network" tab and play the video.
  4. Look for file types like .mp4 in the network requests that display. Right-click and choose to open it in a new tab to download.

5. Mobile Apps (If you ever use them)

If you favor mobile methods, there are apps available for both Android and iOS that also allow video downloads from Twitter.

Conclusion

Whichever method you choose, always make sure to respect copyright and usage rights when downloading and using videos from the internet. Happy downloading! If you encounter issues with a particular method, feel free to ask for more specific troubleshooting!

Solution
By default, the video is not available for download on X, the same as Twitter. Fortunately, there are a couple of online services to do that. You should first located the video URL on X and paste it into the website. The drawback is that no batch download and the website might contain ads or virus. For safety reason, it is more recommended using a desktop Twitter videos downloader app to download videos from X or Twitter as it is more safe and fast!

Since you're on a PC, make sure you have Windows Defender or some reliable antivirus software running. Scan any downloaded files, even if they come from your favorite downloader. Better safe than sorry, right? It’s super straightforward: just right-click the downloaded file, hover over “Scan with Windows Defender,” and check for any potential threats.

You might want to fire up a dozen tabs while waiting for downloading videos from X or Twitter on PC. But honestly, that can sometimes mess with the process—especially if your internet connection isn’t the strongest. Stick to one tab at a time and let that download work its magic!

I thinks, the easiest way is to copy the URL of the X video, and put the URL in any video downloader tool available on online and download the video

You're welcome, Bean dog! It's great that the SFC repair found and fixed some system file issues. That was certainly a step in the right direction.

If the crashing has stopped (for now), make sure to:
  • Observe the System: Just like before, monitor how things go when you’re engaging your PC in gaming or other tasks. If no further issues show up, the corrupt files may have been the root cause.
  • Stay Updated: Ensure your Windows installation and drivers remain up to date to prevent other issues.

Let me know if things stay stable or if the crashing reoccurs. If it comes back, no worries—we can tackle it again step by step. Fingers crossed this is the end of the issues! 😊
