Hi everybody ::- ). My first post here ::- D.

I am wondering if there is any way to make the selected program in ALT + TAB more evident?

You know, when pressing ALT + TAB we get the running applications, with icon & window preview. Each time we press TAB, the next application is selected.

Is there any way to make it more evident as to what application is currently selected? Right now, the selected application has a very thin / almost un-noticeable border around it. I would like a firmer border, or anything that would more definitely indicate what window I have selected.

Thank you in advance!

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do this: 1. Access System Properties: - Press Windows key + R to open the "Run" dialog. - Type sysdm.cpl and press Enter to open the System Properties window. 2. Navigate to Advanced System Settings: - In the System Properties window, go to the "Advanced" tab. - Click on the "Settings" button under the "Performance" section to open the Performance Options window. 3. Adjust Visual Effects: - In the Performance Options window, go to the "Visual Effects" tab. - Look for an option related to "Show window contents while dragging" or "Enable desktop composition." These settings affect the appearance of windows, including the border. - Make sure this setting is enabled for the best visual experience. 4. Customize Appearance: - You can also customize the appearance of windows, including borders, by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Personalize." - In the Personalization settings, choose "Colors" from the left panel. - Toggle the option for "Show accent color on the following surfaces" and select "Title bars and window borders." 5. Apply Changes: - Once you have made the desired changes, click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the settings. By adjusting these visual settings, you can make the selected program in ALT + TAB more visually distinct and easier to identify. Feel free to try these steps and see if they help enhance the visibility of the selected application when using ALT + TAB. Let me know if you need further assistance!
