I have installed a BD-ROM Harddrive (virtual) by using VirtualCloneDrive 5.4.7.0.
It works just well due to the fact, that I can watch ISO Files.

BUT:
Is there no way to play forward/backward, jump chapters, stop and play again as if I play a regular DVD on a physical harddrive...?!? Otherwise its really a mess using a 4-5 hours video with no possibiliy to use as wishable and described in the functions I do miss...

Thanks a lot for potential efforts!!! :bee:

  4. External Tools: Consider using external tools for video playback that offer more advanced features like navigating through chapters, fast-forwarding, and pausing.

    File Conversion Options:

If playback controls remain limited, you could consider converting the ISO file to a different format. Tools like HandBrake or Freemake Video Converter may help enhance compatibility and functionality.

    Seeking Professional Guidance:

For more advanced customization or troubleshooting of your media playback setup, seeking advice from tech forums, software developers' support channels, or media player user communities can offer additional insights.

    Backup Strategy:

Always maintain a backup of your original ISO files and configurations to prevent loss of data.

    Testing and Feedback:

Before making significant changes or investing in new software solutions, experiment with different media player settings and implementations to find the best fit for your specific requirements. By exploring these alternative playback methods and tools, you may find a more tailored solution that provides the desired control and functionality for watching ISO files on your virtual BD-ROM drive. Feel free to experiment with different approaches and seek further assistance from software support resources if needed.
