Windows 8 How to Remove Dual Boot Option After Installing Windows 8.1

hello everyone

i have installed windows 8.1

clean setup, i have erased windows partition and then created it

for some weird reason it would show me boot screen whether i have to decide to choose between Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 XE Loader

how do i get rid of that?


please help me, its annoying

If it's a spurious entry that you want to remove, open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type msconfig and press Enter. Go to the Boot Tab > Select the one you want to remove and click or tap Delete.

its not in there and it indeed spurious entry
