Since joining Hyatt Regency Chennai in October 2022, Mr. Backiaraj has played a pivotal role in ensuring seamless IT operations, enhancing infrastructure reliability, and implementing cutting-edge systems that support both guest services and back-end operations. His proficiency spans software and hardware implementation, system administration, LAN/WAN maintenance, and advanced server management, including Windows Server environments from 2003 to 2019.
Mr. Backiaraj's career includes notable tenures at Feathers - A Radha Hotel, Intercontinental Chennai, Ramada Egmore, and Le Royal Meridien, where he held key roles in pre-opening IT teams and system management. His certifications, including Microsoft System Administrator and multiple credentials from CMS Computer Institute, underscore his dedication to staying ahead of industry standards.
Beyond systems and networks, he is recognized for integrating hospitality technologies such as Micros POS, Opera PMS, VingCard Access Systems, AVAYA IP telephony, and CCTV infrastructure, making him an invaluable asset in hotel technology management.
