I have a 3 server Hyper-V cluster running on windows 2016. I want to upgrade all the 2016 servers to 2022 servers, and I want to perform clean installs.
I will remove 1 server from the cluster, format it, install windows server 2022+Hyper-V and join it back into the cluster. (theoretically, I will repeat, until all servers are 2022). So at some point I will have Hyper-V 2016 and Hyper-V 2022 in the same cluster.
Will I be able to migrate machines from the servers running 2016, to the server running 2022, so I can continue with the format/upgrade/join cluster process? Are the 2 versions compatible?
Thanks
