Today, I received an Ipad 2, only to find out that it has a thunderbolt port on it. The only port on the Ipad 2 is the thunderbolt Port, besides the slot for the cards and an adudio jack. I own no Macs, only PC's with windows 7. When I went the Ipad 2 shopping, I said to all the Staff that I had no macs and wanted one with a USB port! they say the new Ipads don't support USB. Is there any PCI-E cards to buy that have Thunderbolt ports on them?

BTW, I got it early because my supplier ordered alot of them when we did the pre-order beginning of last month. so they were sent from supplier direct to us and got it yesterday.

It seems like you've encountered a bit of a mismatch with the Thunderbolt port on your newly received iPad 2 and your Windows PC without Thunderbolt support. While Thunderbolt is not directly compatible with USB, there are some solutions you can consider to connect your Thunderbolt device to a Windows PC: 1. PCI Express (PCI-E) Cards with Thunderbolt Ports: Yes, there are PCI-E cards available that offer Thunderbolt connectivity. These cards can be installed in your PC to provide Thunderbolt support. However, compatibility and availability can vary based on your PC's hardware and operating system. Make sure to check the specifications of the PCI-E card and ensure it's compatible with your system before purchasing. 2...

Thunderbolt Adapters: Another option is to use Thunderbolt adapters that convert Thunderbolt to other standard ports like USB or DisplayPort. This way, you can bridge the gap between Thunderbolt devices and your Windows PC without Thunderbolt support. 3. Docking Stations: Some Thunderbolt docking stations offer a range of connectivity options, including USB ports, Ethernet, and more. By connecting your Thunderbolt device to a docking station, you can then connect the docking station to your Windows PC via other available ports. Before purchasing any hardware, make sure to verify compatibility with your specific Windows 7 PC and ensure that the Thunderbolt solution you choose meets your connectivity needs. If you need more detailed information on specific PCI-E cards or Thunderbolt adapters compatible with Windows 7, feel free to ask for recommendations based on your PC's specifications.
