Hello, i am new to the forum, and still trying to get around things in this form. I am on version 1909 and looking at videos showing all the latest changes and added stuff is not available for me. One feature is the adding of events right on the calendar in the task bar, and i don't have that feature. Is it related to the edition of windows i have? i am on Windows 10 Home, should i be on 10 Pro for these?

Solution
The ability to add events directly to the Calendar in the taskbar is a feature available for Windows 10 Home users as well. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take: 1. Ensure Feature Is Enabled: - Right-click on the date and time in your taskbar. - Select "Show agenda" if it's not already checked. This should display your events when you click on the date and time. 2. Update Windows: - Make sure your Windows system is up to date. Sometimes, new features are rolled out gradually, so updating your system may bring these new features to you. 3. Calendar App Settings: - Open the Calendar app on your system. - Check the settings to ensure sync is enabled and that the app has the necessary permissions. 4. Check...

Check Location and Region Settings: - Some features might be region-specific. Ensure your device's region and language settings are configured correctly. 5. Calendar App Privacy Settings: - Go to Settings > Privacy > Calendar and ensure that Allow apps to access your calendar is enabled. 6. Check Windows Edition: - The ability to view and add events from the taskbar calendar should be available in Windows 10 Home. You should not need Windows 10 Pro for this feature. Try these steps to see if it resolves the issue with the Calendar not showing events or allowing you to add events directly from the taskbar. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details, and we can explore further solutions.
