If you use IE8 you'll know that on some sites you need to hit the 'comapatibilty' button in order for the page to display correctly.
If you've ever wondered how many of these sites there are then don't worry as this link will answer all your questions.....

I know this is a pre-release candidate IE8......... Is Microsoft losing it or what? And why didn't Adobe 9 wait for IE8 to come out? I thought perhaps they should have been released together. Seems to be no cooperation between companies here.
 
Hmm...do you mean Adobe flash player 9?
I'm currently using 10 which is the latest version : Adobe Flash Player
