Hello. Hope all are well. Just had to do a complete OS install and at on point on a mouse-over, the image would enlarge slightly. It's not doing that now. No big problem, but don't want to use Photo Viewer each time to preview an image...Any suggestions? Thanks, LWL

Hello LWL!
It sounds like you are facing an issue where images are not enlarging slightly on mouse-over after a complete OS reinstall. This feature typically falls under Windows' native functionality for previewing images. Here are a couple of troubleshooting steps and suggestions to address this:
1. Check Settings:
- Ensure that the settings for image preview are correctly configured. You can do this by accessing the "Control Panel" > "All Control Panel Items" > "Performance Information and Tools" > "Adjust Visual Effects", then make sure that "Show thumbnails instead of icons" is checked.
2. Default Photo Viewer:
- Make sure that the default Photo Viewer or Photo App is set correctly to handle image previews. You...
You can do this by right-clicking on an image file, selecting "Open with," and then choosing the desired default program.
3. Reset Default Programs:
- If the issue persists, you can try resetting the default programs for image viewing. You can do this in "Settings" > "Apps" > "Default apps". Set the default for 'Photo viewer' or 'Photo App' to Windows Photo Viewer or the Photos app.
4. Third-Party Image Viewers:
- If the built-in Windows image viewer is still not functioning as expected, you can consider using third-party image viewers like IrfanView, FastStone Image Viewer, or others available on the Microsoft Store.
5. Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest updates. Sometimes, issues with system functions can be resolved through system updates.
6. File Association:
- Check the file associations for image files. Right-click an image file, select "Open with," choose the appropriate application, and make sure to check the box that says "Always use this app to open .(file extension)."
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue with image previews on mouse-over in Windows. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details, and we can explore further solutions.
