Windows 7 inactive network false positive

I've noticed over the past few days that my icon for network indicates No Network Available with the warning sign, but I am still connected to the internet and able to function perfectly. Seems odd to me since the other day it was actually not functioning and I had to fix it by using the troubleshoot option. Now that troubleshooting step does nothing but the network is still active so I don't know what to try next.

Also might this impact p2p software in some way?

This is a known problem. At least you are connected. Win7 will patch this soon - hopefully.
