Windows 7 installing net working the easy way

I want install net working step by step....I have 2 other pc's that have xp...I want to network with those pc's.... My internet setup is Time Warner modem to a wireless 4 port router with cat 10 cables...my main pc is a hp pavillion dv5115nr laptop with win7 x32 ultimate...I have trying to install a network but it is not working out and maybe I am missing something...that is why the step by step is requested...KISS (keep it simple simon)

well my experiences have showed that negotating between Windows7/Vista and the much older XP always brings problems...mainly due to XP's antiquated networking. In some cases I had to patch the process by using Hamachi VPN which solves many issues with least hassle for noobs.

I saw the program listed, is it easy to install? and if I screw up I can unninstall real easy right!!...how did this message end up in games or did I post it in the wrong place

its very easy and doesnt take any real know how to setup other than creating a group and password
