Solution
It seems like there may be a permissions issue or a setting specific to your main account that is not applied to the newly created account. To resolve this issue and ensure that both accounts have internet access, you can follow these steps:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check Network Settings:
    • Access the Control Panel from the Start menu.
    • Go to "Network and Sharing Center" and then click on "Change adapter settings."
    • Check if the network adapter associated with your USB modem is enabled for all accounts.

    ]Shared Network Connection:
    • Ensure that the network connection is set to be shared among all users.
      • Right-click on the network connection associated with your USB modem and go to "Properties."
      • In the "Sharing" tab, check the option to allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection.
    []Power Management Settings:
    • Sometimes power management settings can affect network connectivity.
      • Right-click on the network adapter in Device Manager and go to "Properties."
      • In the Power Management tab, disable the option that allows the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    [
    ]Group Policy Settings (Advanced):
    • If the issue persists, there may be advanced Group Policy settings affecting network access between different user accounts.
    • Check Group Policy settings related to network access and permissions.
  2. Automatic Disconnect Issue:
    • The automatic disconnect when switching accounts might be related to a setting that disconnects the network connection upon switching users.
    • Check for any such settings in the network configuration or power management settings.

      Additional Tips:

      • Rebooting the computer after making changes can help apply the settings effectively.
      • Ensure the USB modem drivers are up to date.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the internet connectivity issues on the newly created account and prevent the disconnection when switching between accounts. If the issue persists, further troubleshooting may be necessary based on the specific setup and system configuration.
