just added a computer running windows vista to my home. we have internet through our cable provider. am using an ambit cable modem model number ui0ci08 ( the i is actually a one ) worked well with my windows me but the internet explorer disappears in vista. have you any ideas?
In order to help you could you please explain what exactly you mean by "internet explorer disappears in vista."
Is the icon not on your taskbar or start menu or if it is, does it fail to connect to the internet.?????????
If this is a fairly new cable modem are the drivers up to date??? See below for latest version
