Windows 7 Is there a software which can share the video over wifi?

Hi genius, I want to share my videos on my laptop with my friends over wifi, and I hope we can watch the video independently that means we can free to decide the playing speed and progress. Is there such software? A Free One must be more better! I am looking forward to your answers. Thank you in advance

When you say "share over wifi" do you mean that you and your friends will all be connected to the same router via wifi, hence all on the same network, or do you really mean that you wish to share the videos over the internet?

If you really meant sharing via wifi then Windows Media Player can act as a media server on your laptop and you and your friends could connect to the server and watch the videos.
