I would like to hear a sound when my pc go to hibernate/sleep and when wake up, just like when Windows shutting down or start. It is posible? Please help!
To set up a sound when your PC goes into hibernate/sleep and when it wakes up, you can follow these steps:
Setting a Sound for Sleep/Hibernate:
Access Sound Settings:
Right-click on the speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar.
Select "Sounds" from the menu that appears.
[]Choose Event Sounds:
In the Sound window, go to the "Sounds" tab.
Scroll down and locate the "Windows Logon" option.
[]Assign Sounds:
Look for "Start Windows" and "Windows Logoff" events.
Choose a sound scheme that includes a sound for these events (e.g., "Windows Default").
Set the sound for "Start Windows" as the sound you want when your PC goes to sleep/hibernate.
Setting a Sound for Wake Up:
[]Use Task Scheduler:
Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
Type taskschd.msc and press Enter to open Task Scheduler.
[]Create a New Task:
Click on "Create Basic Task" under the Actions panel on the right.
Follow the wizard to create a task that runs a program/script.
[]Set Triggers:
Choose a trigger for when you want the sound to play (e.g., when your PC wakes up from sleep).
Configure additional settings and save the task.
[]Assign Sound Action:
In the Actions tab of the task, add an action to "Start a program."
Set the program to play the sound you want. You can use sndrec32.exe for built-in sounds or a custom script or program to play a specific sound file. These steps should allow you to set up sounds for when your PC goes into hibernate/sleep and when it wakes up. Remember to test the settings to ensure they work as expected.
