any ideas?

iTunes indeed stores rating information in an XML file rather than directly in the ID3 tags of your music files. If you're looking to write this information to your file tags instead, you can use third-party software to accomplish this. One tool that can help you achieve this is a software called "Kid3" which allows you to edit ID3 tags of your music files, including ratings. Here's a general guide on how you can use Kid3 to transfer iTunes ratings to the actual ID3 tags: 1. Download and install Kid3: First, download and install Kid3 from the official website . 2. Import your music files: Open Kid3 and import the music files for which you want to transfer the ratings from iTunes. 3. Transfer ratings to ID3 tags: In Kid3, locate the...

Transfer ratings to ID3 tags: In Kid3, locate the field where you want to store the ratings and then copy the ratings from your XML file (exported from iTunes). Paste this information into the corresponding field in Kid3. 4. Save changes: Once you have copied the ratings to the ID3 tags, make sure to save the changes to the files. By following these steps, you should be able to transfer iTunes ratings to the actual ID3 tags of your music files using Kid3. This way, you'll have the ratings stored directly within the music files themselves. Always make sure to back up your files before making any changes to ensure the safety of your music library.
