hello,

after installing windows 7 some of the functions when holding down the 'shift' key have changed. for example holding 'shift' + '2' now prints '@', it used to print ' " '. i looked at the on-screen keyboard and found that it no longer matches the keyboard in front of me. would greatly appreciate any help.

Solution
go to: control panel/regions and Laqnguages/Keyboards and Languages/change Keyboard. Install the English UK keyboard and make it the default
