I recently installed Fifa 2010 on my computer, and just opened it up for the first time. However, it seems as though my computer is constantly pressing the down arrow on the keyboard. I then shut off the game and went in to firefox and it kept on doing the same thing- it kept on switching between items on the screen just like it was scrolling through the items in the game. I even tried removing the batteries on my keyboard and the computer continued scrolling down, so that eliminated a hardware problem. It seems to me like it is some sort of a problem with windows 7.

Here are my computer specs:
DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2100 MHz (10.5 x 200) 4000+
XFX GeForce 8500 GT 256 MB
4 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

    ]Check for Malware:
    • It's possible that malware could be causing unwanted key inputs. Run a full antivirus scan on your system to rule out this possibility.
    []Check for Background Processes:
    • Sometimes, background processes or applications can interfere with keyboard inputs. Close unnecessary applications and processes to see if the issue persists.
    [
    ]Check for Accessibility Options:
    • Windows has accessibility features that might be turned on unintentionally. Ensure features like Sticky Keys, Filter Keys, or Toggle Keys are disabled in the Ease of Access Center.
    []Verify Keyboard Settings:
    • Check your keyboard settings in Control Panel to ensure that the correct keyboard layout and settings are selected.
    [
    ]Test with a Different Keyboard:
    • To further diagnose the issue, try using a different keyboard temporarily to see if the problem persists.
    []Update Windows and Drivers:
    • Make sure your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Also, update your graphics card driver and other relevant drivers.
    [
    ]Check for Third-Party Software Interference:
    • Some third-party software can cause conflicts with input devices. Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists.
  2. Reset Keyboard Settings:
    • You can try resetting your keyboard settings to default in the Control Panel or Device Manager. If after trying these steps the issue persists, it might be a more complex software-related issue that requires further investigation.
