This is an issue that I've been ignoring for quite a while thinking that it might go away however it hasn't. Not much to say that wasn't said in the title but on the left of my screen there's a large line of dead pixels against the edge of my screen, I think it's probably because of me dropping my laptop too many times but that's probably irrelevant. I looked up images of other dead pixels to see if it was a normal amount but most of them appeared singularly, I've tried using dead pixel removers but they never get rid of them all just trim the edges effectively. Is this something I can fix or will I have to get my screen replaced.

It's entirely a hardware problem. You'll need to replace the screen.

Is your warranty still good? You may get some traction re the screen if it is?
