Windows 10 Lenovo Y530 ICH (Windows 10) wakes up automatically when the screen turns off - why?

To save energy, I set the screen off automatically (No screensaver!) for a specified time. The screen turns off after a certain time (Or I turn off it manually) but after a different time turns on automatically - Why?

- I tested the situation on battery and mains power supply
- Turning off the screen manually and waiting for only automatic
- On two different computers (Windows 10 - Lenovo Y530 ICH & Windows 7 - Lenovo Y550P)
- After complete cleaning / formatting of systems
- All system drivers and the system itself have been updated
- I tested after disconnection of all connected devices, i.e. mouse, external disk.
- Of course, changing all power settings, schedules etc. although I will gladly do it again after the eye of a specialist

From a command prompt you can run powercfg /lastwake to get an idea of what woke up the sytem.

Some items that can wake it

• Firmware wake timers
• Services
• Task Scheduler
• Hardware devices

I did it (powercfg /lastwake)- there is nothing

Where can I find Firmware wake timers?
Which one services, task scheduler?
Hardware devices - it means...?

Let the problem happen, then when it wakes up run that command again. For tasks you'd have to look at each tasks configuration, firmware you need to boot into your BIOS/UEFI and look for scheduled wake timers (will be different between firmware vendors). Services I don't believe you can tell unless you see one show up in last wake

Re-reading your post you stated only the monitor is set to turn off correct? Then the system isn't really in sleep mode and that command won't show anything.

You could try setting the whole system to enter sleep mode and test.

I've got problem with waking up with turning off monitor only (Not screensaver, not sleep system)

Then since the system isn't technically asleep there won't be a wake event recorded. That's why I suggested setting the computer to sleep. If the same thing that wakes the display wakes the computer it should show from that command.

Also if there are wake timers you can see them with powercfg /waketimers

Ok, I understand but Ive got no problems with sleep mode. (Monitor only!)
Have You got any ways to check monitor?

Since it's not really a wake event, no there isn't really a way to see what caused it

Power Options->Sleep->allow Wake timers->disable.

Its disabled and nothing... but after a few days tests I have noticed that when I turn off internet, everything is fine.
Can anybody knows whats this?
