The LG Lancet launches with Advanced Calling 1.0 capabilities, making it the first Windows smartphone on Verizon with HD Voice Calling. This means you can enjoy natural sounding HD voice calls with other compatible Verizon smartphones. This new device runs Windows Phone 8.1 giving you the flexibility to personalize your Start screen the way you want it. You can “pin” your favorite apps to your Start screen to keep all the important things right where you need them. With Windows Phone 8.1 you also get Cortana, a personal digital assistant that can help make your life easier just by using your voice. Cortana can show you related articles based on your interests and help get you where you need to be with GPS and traffic alerts.

The XLTE-ready LG Lancet is now available online and will be in stores starting May 21. The smartphone is available on Verizon Edge for $5 a month for 24 months; 0% APR (full retail price $120). And, for a limited time, bring your number to Verizon and get a $100 bill credit within 2-3 bill cycles for each new smartphone activated on Verizon Edge.
