Hello there.
I have this problem with the WMP 12
I'am running at W 7 ultimate 64bit.
When I open a video file, it shows this Link Removed
After pressing "yes" it tells me at the site of windows : "
Windows Media Player Download


There is no download available for this operating system. Please visit Link Removed to check for the latest Windows Media Player Updates. "
Threre is no updates for WMP in the Windows update.
How to solve the problem? Plese help.

Hello !!


  1. Click Start, type cmd in the Start Search text box, right-click cmd.exe, click Run as administrator, and then click Continue.
  2. At the command prompt, type regsvr32 wmp.dll, and then click OK.
If that didn't fix it the follow this thread Link Removed - Invalid URL it should help you fixing it.

Thank you for the quick awnser Captain, and for the help, but it didnt worked out. WMP still dont want to work :).
