Mice won't work on my laptop. I got a new mouse and I tried re-installing the driver.
(also it doesn't say that it's unrecognized) My mouse LED is on too. So it's on too.

Hi Starman,
can you post which mouse it is and what laptop (make and model) too?

Is it possible you can test the mouse in either a spare or friends machine? Just so you can make sure it's working as it should.

Have you tried using different USB ports or if you have a PS/2 adapter and port try that.
